When COVID-19 hit a year ago Brittany Rappise was aiming to get a beautician job with the Pensacola Opera. But the quest by the Florida resident derailed due to the pandemic.
Today she's busy getting ready to launch the Not Ya Noona's food truck in Pensacola, according to a WKRG 5 report.
During her year of unemployment she joined a local gym and made friends and her cooking expertise caught lots of attention. Along with fellow investors she bought a bus and transformed it into a food truck serving Italian cuisine.
"Wigs and makeup will always be my first passion… It's what I love. But I also really love this. I love serving people, I love feeding people, and I love cooking my food and it makes me happy when other people enjoy my food," Rappise told the news outlet.
