A proposed food truck curfew in Milwaukee has been put on hold by a judge. The city had previously tried to change the curfew from 1 a.m. to 10 p.m. due to violent incidents in downtown Milwaukee, according to a report by WISN.
Police cited three shootings in summer 2025 and a shooting in March 2026 as reasons to enforce the curfew. Fatty Patty food truck owner Abdallah Ismail sued to block the curfew, stating it would impact his business.
"This is an interesting case, and I'm glad to see there is interest in it," the judge said during the proceedings, according to the news outlet.
The judge will make a final decision within seven to 10 days.
