Food truck Fridays kicking off in Springfield, Massachusetts

Springfield, Massachusetts, is getting ready for a weekend of fun starting Friday, May 3 which marks the start of "Food Truck Fridays."

The MGM Springfield events, according to a Mass Live report, also include a Derby de Mayo Weekend and an outdoor beer garden. Food truck Fridays take place 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will feature three original concept food trucks.

Other trucks, including Wahlburgers, Hot Oven Cookies and Say Cheese, will participate in a rotating schedule.

Here are the trucks participating on opening day:
•    Guac This Way by MGM Springfield, Massachusetts.
•    Asian-Inspired Food Truck by MGM Springfield, Massachusetts.
•    Italian Gelato by MGM Springfield, Massachusetts.
•    Wahlburgers of Boston, Massachusetts.
•    Liberty Rock Tavern of Milford, Connecticut.
•    Holyoke Hummus of Holyoke, Massachusetts.
•    Say Cheese of Worcester, Connecticut.
•    Hot Oven Cookies of Springfield, Massachusetts.
•    Kona Ice of Stamford, Connecticut.
•    Sweet Chili’s of Springfield, Massachusetts.
•    Sweet Chili’s of Springfield, Massachusetts.
