Food truck operators launch food truck park in Florida

The search for a place to park a food truck has led to the creation of a food truck park in Jacksonville, Florida.
Food truck owners Cherron Johnson and her husband Hector Zaya Sr. were looking for a place to do business with their truck, NOLA's Snoballs, Sweets & Savory Eats and ended up establishing a food truck park area in Springfield, according to a report in The Florida Times Union. The Main Street Food Park will open Oct. 9 on N. Main Street.
"We want to create a family of truckies that we can support and all benefit from making money," Johnson told the news outlet.
The couple plan to have food trucks rotating at the park each weekend as well as live entertainment, outdoor seating and family-friendly games.
