Food truck park opens in Savannah

Savannah, Georgia is home to an outdoor food truck park that also serves as a music spot.

The 3 Points Food Court, at MLK Jr. Boulevard and Montgomery Street on Orchard Street, took two years to become a reality, according to a WTOC 11 report.

The park can house five trucks and the goal, according to founder Douglas Kaufman, is to have both lunch and dinner trucks at the park on a rotation basis.

"Trucks have to be licensed with the city of Savannah, and then they can come on our lot. We have a stage there as well, so for entertainment, we want to make it a very community-based location," he told the news outlet.
