Food truck rally this weekend in Wichita's west side

The west side of Witchita, Kansas is now home of a monthly food truck rally that kicks off this weekend, Saturday, May 11.

The event, according to a report at the Wichita Eagle, is called Westside Food Truck Rally and has been organized by Hot-2-Trot Gourmet Hotdogs. It will take place in the parking lot of Towne West Square from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and feature music, bounce houses for kids and food trucks, including LumpiaPalooza, Lolos Crepes, Against the Grain, Wadadli Island Cuisine and Sugar Mama’s Soul Food and more.

Following Saturday's debut the rally will take place on the second Sunday of the month through the summer.

Additional food truck events, according to the report, include Night at the Fountains on Friday, May 17 and Food Trucks at the Fountain, on Sunday, May 26, both happening at the Wichita WaterWalk.
