Food truck rally to return to Michigan town

The third annual food truck rally hosted by the Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professional Network will take place Friday, May 18, in the parking lot of Neiman's Family Market at 7121 Dixie Highway, in Independence Township, Michigan, according to the Oakland Press. Admission is free. The event will include 16 food trucks, a beer and wine tent, a kids zone and exhibits.

Returning trucks include Cortina Local; Crepe-Day-Twah; Delectabowl; Grillwich Tot Shop; Hero or Villain; The Mean Weenie; Nosh Pit Detroit; The Salt & Sugar Co.; and Streetside Sushi.

New food trucks will include Backyard BBQ; Bigaloro; El Charro; Motor City Pasty Company; Simply Spanish; and TruckShuka.
