Food truck rodeo riding into South Carolina in May

Florence, South Carolina will be home to a two-day inaugural Carolina Food Truck Rodeo kicking off on May 10.

The event's motto, according to a SC Now Morning News report, is "food trucks, live music, craft brews, good vibes" and will be free to attend.

The event will feature more than 20 food trucks from around the country, with fare ranging from jalapeno waffles to gator bites as well as barbecue, burgers and vegan offerings.

"We wanted to bring unique flavors and different food options to Florence so people could try new dishes," Nick Hooker, director of marketing of the Florence Center, told the media outlet.

The rodeo will also offer a wide range of craft beers, including Carolina-based brewery products.
