Former barber shop owners launch food truck in Texas

Tesla Ibarra and husband Alex Valdez were forced due to COVID-19 to close their barber shop in the Rio Grande Valley area in Texas, but it didn't deter them from jumping into a whole new occupation as food truck owners.

That's how Quesomidilla launched, according to a KRGV.com report, and it took just a month.

The Weslaco couple had been thinking of starting a food truck years earlier and are finding fast success at a local food park due in great part to social media outreach. They're now looking to hire a manager due to the business growth, according to the report.
