Greek food truck gets a warm welcome

The Acropolis Express KY 54 food truck, featuring Greek cuisine, was warmly embraced by hungry diners when it traveled from its home base in Evansville, Kentucky, to Owensboro, Kentucky.

In fact, the response was so successful that operator Ellada Hadjuisavya is planning to stop in Owensboro a second time, on May 16, according to an Oweneboro, Kentucky, report.

"The response has been extremely gratifying," Hadjisavva told the news outlet. "We were very surprised with people coming out and trying our food. People came and they overwhelmingly were asking questions about the food."

Hadjisavva owns Acropolis Restaurant & Catering in Evansville, which has been closed for weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic

"Since people cannot come to our building," she told the news outlet, "We take our food out to the community and the neighborhood."
