Hot chicken truck getting ready to roll into Missoula

Missoula, Montana, is home to a new food truck and it's serving up hot chicken come Sept. 16.

The M-80 Chicken food truck, owned by Nick Jackson, is opening for business right next to the KettleHouse Southside location.

Jackson launched the truck business after a layoff due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. He chose the menu item due to his own love of chicken while touring with a band, according to a KPAX.com report.

"Kind of just took a look at what I enjoyed doing," Jackson told the news outlet. "I really love entertaining, I love cooking for people, being part of the community. I wasn't getting that at my last job, so I figured I would start up my own thing."
