Houston food truck chain lands in North Carolina

Abu Omar Halal, a Houston food truck fleet, has launched a Raleigh, North Carolina food truck.

It truck is located at 709 W. Peace Street and marks the first out of Texas location for the food truck brand, according to a report at The Herald Sun.

Abu Omar serves up Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes, for lunch and late night dinner and will be open daily from 11 a.m. to at least midnight.

"We pair best with any nightlife areas," owner Muhammad Altawaha told the news outlet. "Universities, the busiest areas in cities."
