That's My Dog, a southern Indiana restaurant featuring all things hot dog, is launching its first food truck come May.

The mobile enterprise is something restaurant owner Thomas Harris has wanted to do since he opened his restaurant last summer but it took time to find the right vehicle and make sure his restaurant was completely staffed, according to a Louisville Business First report.

Despite the pandemic year, the restaurant, located at 125 W. Chestnut Street, in Jeffersonville, Indiana has seen robust sales — nearly 40% between February and March of this year.

"We finally got staff here in store, which is great — everybody's been training and it's been going really well," Harris told the news outlet. "It has allowed us to go ahead and move forward with the growth for the future."

When it's up and running the truck will feature a smaller menu and its well known dog creations, such as The Chicago, will be available. Fans will be able to order ahead for pickup on arrival, according to the report.
