An Austin, Texas food truck is getting rave reviews for its pasta and its popularity is prompting the owners to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant.
The IL Saporis truck is run by Tony DeStefano and his dad Giuseppe DeStefano, the latter having worked as a chef and owned restaurants in both Dallas and San Antonio for years, according to an Axios report.
The father-son duo are aiming to open their restaurant in East Austin this year.
The truck, which launched in 2019, offers up homemade pasta and sauce, from spaghetti and meatballs to chicken parm bites.
