Kansas couple launches catering food truck

This year didn't start off well for Dan Berthiaume and Jessica Brockstedt, a Topeka, Kansas couple, as Berthiaume lost his job and the couple's pop-up camper broke down.

Yet they took the downturn in events in stride and created a food truck business, according to a report at The Topeka Capital-Journal.

The couple now own and operate the Dj's Catering food truck after fixing the camper and serve up hot dogs, chili and nachos, using local ingredients.

"It's very rewarding what we do," Berthiaume told the news outlet. "We enjoy it, and everybody who has eaten one of our hot dogs loves it. We are doing something right."
