The city of Louisville, Kentucky has launched a one-stop food truck clinic event offering food truck operators and mobile food vendors a streamlined process when it comes to getting needed permits.
The clinic is a collaborative effort among several city agencies including the fire service, alcoholic beverage control department and the department of public health and wellness, according to a Courier Journal report.
The clinic operates every Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., through Oct. 19 at Armory Place at 444 S. 5th Street.
"Some of our city's favorite local restaurants started as food trucks," Mayor Craig Greenberg said in a release. "Food trucks add diversity, help connect neighborhoods and attribute economic vibrancy to our community as a foodie city. We want to support them by making the permitting process as easy and streamlined as we can."
