KFC-branded self-driving mobile vending machine serves customers in China

Self-driving shuttles carrying vending machines offering hot KFC sandwiches are roaming streets in China, according to a report in thedrive.com.

Customers can walk up to the KFC-branded pod and place an order via a touchscreen, then pay by scanning a QR code with their phone.

The autonomous vehicle was developed by a startup called Neolix, which raised close to $29 million this year.
