A food truck that served the University of Maryland students and campus employees is closed this semester due to the fact the university dining services couldn't hire on needed employees.
The truck, Green Tidings, launched by the university in 2013, had only been closed during summers and inclement weather and had served during the pandemic year, according to a DBK News report.
In the past, foodservice workers from the university's catering kitchen staff had manned the truck with a few extra hired hands.
