Lidl launches food truck to serve retirement communities

Lidl US is delivering groceries via a food truck to retirement communities in coastal Virginia.

The food truck is making the special grocery store delivery for free, according to a 3WTKR report. Those needing the service can call 1-866-GET-LIDL (1-866-438-5435).

The program is serving seniors in several areas: Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk and Hamptom and deliveries will arrive within two days of the order.
