Long Island food truck operators launch restaurant

The operators of the Green Street Food Truck, in Nassau County, Long Island, have opened a brick-and mortar restaurant called the Green Street Eatery.

The restaurant, in Levittown, offers a vegan and gluten-free menu, according to a Daily Voice report and comes three years after the food truck was launched.

"We've been looking forward to this day for so long, and we couldn't be more honored to serve all of you and our community as a whole," the eatery shared in a Facebook post.

"Our hearts are full of gratitude, happiness, and it's all because of you. Thank you again for your continued support and patience with us as we figure out this new storefront."
