Long Island home to mobile Airstream food, party services

A Long Island man is putting a new twist on mobile food service with a fleet of Airstream vehicles that serve as food, as well as act as party trailers.

The Long Island Airstream Experience company has four Airstream vehicles providing food, drinks, games and an interior party room whether you're throwing a cigar party, a wedding shower or just celebrating and want some tacos and tequila, according to a Newsday report.

"This is a way to throw a party for adults but really jazz it up. It's fully catered and everything is included," Thomas Francis, company owner, told the news outlet. "When you are done, we take care of the cleanup. It's a real safe way to have a good time on your own terms."

The first trailer launched three years ago offering a Long Island Cuban Cigar & Bourbon Experience. The second came a year later with The Long Island Wine & Cheese Experience. In 2020, The Long Island Beer & Burger Experience took off offering eight Long Island craft beers on tap and chef-cooked burgers with 12 different toppings plus waffle fried chips.

The newest trailer experience, which launched this month, is The Long Island Taco & Tequila Experience

Each trailers holds up to 25 people, and comes with activities as well as serving staff.

Next up will be The Long Island Boozy Brunch Experience that will debut this fall, according to the report.
