The Lynnwood, Washington, City Council is aiming to speed up the food truck permit process through an ordinance. The ordinance offers permits for stays up to 90 days or more and a shorter time period, according to a report by Herald Net.

Trucks that stay for shorter times in one spot don't have to have a site plan review. Food truck vendors can also apply for a business license along with their permits. To receive a permit, food truck operators will need a health department permit, documents from the fire department and a plan for grease disposal.

The permit will cost $100 up front with a $50 annual fee.
