Maine brewery home to food trucks

The Oxbow Brewing Co. in Newcastle, Maine is home to food trucks this summer.

One truck making an appearance is Brother Shuckers, according to a report at The Lincoln County News. The truck's menu features fresh raw oysters.

The brewery's strategy is to offer customers more food options, according to Oxbow's Retail Operations Director Josh Fernands.

"Newcastle can be a little off the beaten path for people, and often they come in hungry, and a bag of pretzels might not do the trick," Fernands told the news outlet.

Zak Karas, co-owner of Brother Shuckers, is looking forward to the collaboration.

"We are really just excited to be able to use and be a part of such a beautiful space in the Newcastle woods," Karas told the media outlet.
