Maryland food truck expands with physical footprint

Those who love the food truck Yo Java Bowl, in Chester, Maryland, will be happy to hear the food truck enterprise is expanding with a physical storefront location.

An indoor café run by food truck operators Valerie and Rick Coulby will open at the Red Apple Town Center by month's end, according to a report at The Star Democrat.

The operating hours will likely be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

The food truck, which specializes in fruit offerings such as acai bowls and smoothies, was launched in 2019. The café will expand on the menu a bit, according to the report.

It's not yet determined if the food truck will continue to operate, according to the news report.

"We're committed to finding out what works in this market," Rick Coulby told the news outlet. "We want to take all the best things we've learned from the past 10 years and just have them explode here."
