Miami Design District home to Cuban-focus food truck

One of the Miami's food trucks, already well-known for its Cuban tacos, is setting up shop in Miami's Design District.

The truck is Caja Caliente, which offers Cuban fare, and now there will actually be two trucks serving up Cuban fare, according to a Community Newspapers report.

One truck will be located at 95 NE 40th Street and the second truck, according to owner Mika Leon, will be used for catering and trolling around Florida and the U.S.

The Design District-based truck menu boasts Lechon tacos, Vaca Frita tacos, octopus tacos as well as customizable bowls. It will also offer one-of-kind menu items, according to the news report.

There will be social-distanced seating available.

"I'm extremely excited to be coming back to the neighborhood just a few blocks away from where Caja originated and to finally find a permanent home for the food truck," Leon told the news outlet.
