Muskegon, Michigan has had a mobile food ordinance for six years but officials are considering a revamp that would expand operational sites for food trucks.

The current rule limits food trucks to commercial areas and industrial parks, according to a mLive Michigan report.

The decision to review the law comes on the heels of a food truck being removed from a location and social media backlash.
