Midland, Texas home to a food truck alley

A Food Truck Alley opened in Midland, Texas this past week, on West Wall Street near Midkiff Road.

A grand opening event was held Saturday, according to a CBS7 report, and the goal is providing a family-friendly and safe eating experience.

"Looking at everybody's faces, you know that we got a space and a spot to work, to make money, to support our family, and to bring fun to the community. It's just joyful," Jesse Melendez, the organizer, told the news outlet.

The park is open seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
