Milwaukee food truck expands with physical location

Milwaukee foodies who love the Heirloom MKE food truck will be happy to hear the brand is expanding with a brick-and-mortar location in Bay View.

Owners Pete and Jess Ignatiev plan to open the restaurant, called Heirloom Bay View, this summer and will mirror the food truck's philosophy of supporting community and offering an inclusive environment, according to an OnMilwaukee report.

"We decided that we really wanted the experience of a full-service restaurant where people can really get to know us," Jess Ignatiev told the news outlet "Where they can see more of who we are through our decor, our food, our cocktails and the music that we play."
