Customers at the Zócalo Food Park in Walker's Point, Milwaukee’s first food truck park, will be able to order food using a payment app called CashDrop, according to a Journal Sentinel report.
Jesús González, a partner in Zócalo and owner of one of the food trucks, Mazorca Tacos, believes the app will help business in the cold weather.
Customers will order from the food trucks and settle up with Apple Pay. They can wait at Zócalo's bar until the app notifies them by text when their order is ready. The transaction fee is 35 cents.
Food trucks email their menus to upload them to the app.
Customers leave their names with their order, along with how much they spent and where they bought their food, allowing users to see where others are eating.
