Missouri food truck opens a restaurant location

The Crooked Boot food truck, in Missouri, has opened a physical restaurant location at 20212 Campus Drive in St. Charles just in time for Mardi Gras season.

Owner and chef Coria Griggs said the restaurant is take-out mostly with just a few seats in the location, according to a report at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Griggs launched her food truck six years ago with a menu featuring everything from catfish and shrimp to seafood gumbo and a fried soft-shell crab sandwich as well as Haitian items. The truck will continue to operate and will be part of the initial roster for Frankie Martin's Garden when it opens this spring.
