August 5, 2019

Three Louisville food trucks recently announced plans to expand to brick-and-mortar restaurants, following on the heals of other food trucks such as V-Grits, Celtic Pig and Hi-Five Donuts, according to a Louisville Courier Journal report.

Troy King and Selena Johnson, owners of Pollo Gourmet Chicken Joint, plan to open a restaurant called Six Forks Burger Co. at 1270 S. Preston St. this month, serving about four different styles of hot dogs and other sandwiches.

Get It On A Bun at Booty's in New Albany, owned by Tammy and Craig Boutiette, will open a grab-and-go restaurant at 822 State St. by early September, catering to call-in orders from Uber Eats and Doordash,

La Chandeleur has outgrown its crepes food truck and will have a restaurant at 304 W. Woodlawn Ave. by late October, said owner Kyle Thomas, offering an expanded crêpe menu.
