New tech finds, funnels real-time restaurants digital sign content

April 11, 2017

Allure is debuting an advanced content automation technology for digital signs and other devices used in the fast food and fast casual sectors. Allure AutoFocus, which is being used in 2,000 restaurant locations, enables operators and owners to automatically adopt and and change digital messages in response to the real-time restaurant environment, according to a company press release.

"Allure AutoFocus is built from the ground up for fast casual and quick-serve restaurants to deliver dynamic messaging based on a highly adaptive and intelligent rules engine," Allure Sales Senior Vice President Brian Whitney, said in a release.

AutoFocus prioritizes, configures and presents digital content elements without human oversight to manage content changes by working with existing restaurant systems like those related to POS, inventory and kitchen management, as well as external sources of weather, news and other related information, Whitney said.

The engine then applies relational algorithms to drive the content management system by including all the facts of the specific content and how it's presented on any given device.
