The Camden, New Jersey-based Corinne's Place restaurant is expanding with a food truck strategy.

The James Beard Foundation award-winning eatery will be serving up its corn bread, mac and cheese, fried chicken and soul greens in a food truck that will hit select spots in the state, according to an Instagram post by its owners.

The restaurant, which opened in 1989 and is on Haddon Avenue, is owned by Corinne Bradley-Powers who said the food truck strategy is in response to customer demand. She plans to launch a second truck in the near future, according to a Courier Post report.

The restaurant won the coveted James Beard "America's Classics Award" in 2022.

"Even with my restaurant down through the years, most of our people are mostly out of town people and they say 'why don't you put a restaurant here, why don't you put a restaurant there?' " she told the news outlet. "Now with the food truck they're saying come here, come where. Cherry Hill wants us. Lawnside wants us. God has been good."
