The owner of the Food Freaks food truck has opened a restaurant in Mocksville, North Carolina, called Food Freaks Unique Burger Co.
Operator Brandon Cassidy launched the brick-and-mortar location this month offering all the food truck's menu as well as new fare items, according to a Winston-Salem Journal report.
"I combine everyday common flavors in a way most people wouldn't think of doing," Cassidy told the news outlet. "That's been my thing from day one."
The food truck was launched seven years ago and is known for stuffed burgers.
The restaurant is Cassidy's second brick-and-mortar effort. Four years ago he opened Food Freaks, Beer Geeks, but it closed a year later due to a lack of a lunch crowd and limited seating, according to the report.
The latest restaurant is open six days for lunch and dinner and will soon offer indoor and outdoor seating and has counter service for now.
Cassidy plans to pull back on food truck operations, but will not close the truck.
