Next spring may bring lots of new food truck fare to residents of Port Clinton, Ohio, as city officials are considering allowing food trucks to operate in the city.
The city's economic and community development committee as well as the city board are beginning discussion regarding a food truck ordinance, according to a Port Clinton News Herald report.
"I think it's a need," Safety-Service Director Tracy Colston told the news outlet. "But I think we need to look at all avenues of it and see how we want to encompass it."
Current city laws bar food truck operations except on privately-owned property.
