In a quest to offset losses due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a Northfield, Ohio food truck business is operating a ghost kitchen at a local VFW Post hall.
The SWAT food trucks, owned by Dan Molnar, will provide curbside service to-go daily and will donate 10% of sales to the VFW group, according to a Script Type report. One truck is about burgers and the second is BBQ cuisine. It's also serving to VFW members and offers a discount to members.
"It's a win-win for both parties," Molnar told the news outlet. "Without the VFW, I don't know what we'd do," said Molnar, who employs three workers.
