Food truck vendors are getting a warm welcome from the City of Edmond, Oklahoma as city leaders have created a mobile food truck station in the downtown area.

A spot at the station, located at the Littler Lawn, can be reserved free of charge, according to a News 9 report.

"This space is a temporary space, but it will probably be here for a few more years at least," City Public Information Officer Casey Moore told the news outlet. "So what we're trying to do is make sure that we activate this space until something new is built here. What we're trying to do is give people an opportunity to get out and enjoy that."
