One Texas food truck is busy these days

May 12, 2020

While COVID-19 has shuttered local eateries for months a Kilgore, Texas food truck is seeing good customer traffic.

The Raisin' Smoke BBQ and Catering truck, owned by Stephen and Lacreshia Walker, is enjoying steady business at 1409 Highway 31 East location and much of it is being driven by a move to support local business, according to a KLTV report.

"A lot of people have stopped by and said, 'hey, there's a small business, a mom-and-pop shop. Let's stop by and give them a try,'" Lacreshia told the news outlet. "We have had a lot of patrons throughout all this, which we do appreciate. A lot of repeat business. A lot of new business. So we've actually grown quite a bit and brought on a lot of, I guess, new family members as you could say because they’ve continued to come back."
