Paducah welcomes food trucks with open arms

The city of Paducah, in Kentucky, has launched a weekly food truck event to help boost the downtown area and also help local food truck operators.

The lunchtime food truck event, which runs Thursdays through September at the Dolly McNutt Memorial Plaza from 11:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m., is getting accolades from local residents as well as food truck owners, according to a WPSD Local 6 report.

The city has streamlined the permit process for food truck operators as well, according to the report.
