Issues with permits and challenges adhering to city code enforcement are prime reasons a food truck park in Stockton, California is not full of food truck options.

The Stocklandia, located near downtown Stockton, has been up and running for a year, according to a Recordnet.com report. Truck fare has ranged from BBQ to soul food and even Filipino menu options.

Co-owners Kenneth Foster and Veronica Martinez said visits from municipal code units and permit obstacles are preventing food truck operators from being involved in the park.

"A lot of [vendors] started telling us, we can't stay here," Martinez told the news outlet.

But the owners are hoping to get some city support and want to keep the park up and running, according to the news outlet.

"Stocklandia's not dying," Foster said. "We're not going to give up."
