Phoenix food truck festival kicks off this weekend

The 2019 Street Eats Food Truck Festival in Phoenix will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Feb. 16 and 17, at Salt River Fields.

According to a Phoenix New Times report, the event will feature 55 trucks and will offer a $2 sample menu.

Participating operators will compete for two awards, Best Bite and People's Choice. The two-day event will feature live music, a kids' play area and even cooking classes, the report said.

Tickets are $12 for general admission; children under 12 are admitted free. Those looking for a more exclusive experience can purchase a $75 VIP ticket, which includes four food tokens, five drinks, and access to a VIP lounge and private bathrooms.
