Pittsburgh food truck expanding into brick-and-mortar establishment

The Pita My Shawarma, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania food truck, is opening in a Lawrenceville store, according to a Next Pittsburgh report.

The brick-and-mortar restaurant will also specialize in Lebanese cuisine and is planning to open in August at 3716 Butler Street. Owner and operator Jason Taylor has operated the food truck for two years, according to the report.

The truck offers hand-stacked, hand-shaven, rotisserie-cooked meat serv on fresh pita with lettuce, tomatoes and pickled turnips. It's number one selling item is its chicken shawarma.
