Portland food pop-up moves into permanent home

The Chop Chop Chicken Sundaes pop-up food cart now has a physical home in Portland at Bridgeport Village.

In making the move, the owners added "& Salads" to the restaurant name, according to a Willamette Week report.

In addition to the new five chopped salads for takeout, the cart's menu (rice topped with marinated chicken or tofu and choice of 11 toppings) will still be in play in the physical location.

"Because we're a food truck, 100% of our food is to go already and our takeout game is very strong," co-owner Dennis Gorton stated in a press release. "We're looking forward to giving people something to get excited about with our new fixed location. Good things can come out of drab times."
