Reno food truck event cancelled

Food Truck Friday, in Idlewild Park, Nevada, won't be happening this year. Organizers for the region's largest food truck gathering were hoping to hold the event next month, according to a Reno Gazette Journal report, but it would be impossible to instill social distancing and adhere to guidelines in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The event would have featured five dozen trucks and was initially scheduled to happen in mid-May.

The event already has a future date set of May 14, 2021.
