Seafood food truck rolls into Wilmington

A Lobster Dogs food truck is up and rolling through Wilmington, North Carolina, serving lobster rolls as well as shrimp rolls and crab rolls in New Hanover County locations.

The franchise truck, owned by John Suttle, focuses on locally sourced seafood, such as North Carolina shrimp, as well as Maine lobster and Alaska snow crab, according to a WilmingtonBiz report. The franchise food truck operation opened six years ago in Charlotte, North Carolina.

"We're going around anywhere from Shallotte to Surf City right now, and we have requests to come up to Jacksonville," Suttle told the news outlet. He's aiming to expand into the Southeastern North Carolina area.

Suttle runs trucks in Winston-Salem and Greensboro as well and is growing the brand through franchising He also runs the franchise for the Asheville area and is planning to open a second Wilmington truck by summer.
