Sunday intros mobile payments in US restaurants market

Sunday, a mobile payments solution provider for restaurants, has introduced its service in the U.S. market. More than 110 restaurants have integrated the solution, which allows customers to scan, pay and split their bill with a QR code, according to a press release.

Restaurants are able to save an average of 15 minutes per check and in turn improve both service and customer satisfaction. In addition, waiters are able to check on guests more frequently, since they do not have to handle the bill pay process.

The sunday service also is compatible with various point-of-sale systems including NCR, Micros, Upserve, Brink POS, Squirrel System and Lightspeed.
