Texas food truck expands with restaurant location

The Soulgood food truck, launched in Denton, Texas in 2018, now has a physical location up and running.

The restaurant is located at 1201 Oakland St. in the former Oakland Café at Texas Woman's University, according to a report at the Denton Record-Chronicle.

The food enterprise was borne from owner Cynthia Nevels' quest to provide her son, who passed in 2015, healthy plant-based meals, and the truck is named in his honor.

"I was looking for answers of how I could help him, and there was nothing I could do but the food I fed him," Nevels told the news outlet.

The truck and restaurant menu offers vegan options of American dishes for both vegans and flexitarians.
