Texas gets a taste of Louisiana fare

Foodies in Cibolo, Texas now have the opportunity to enjoy Louisiana fare thanks to NOLA Bayou Bites, a food truck offering an authentic New Orleans menu.

That menu includes everything from fried balls of bread pudding to fried fish, according to a Kens 5 report.

Owner and cook April Washington hails from New Orleans and moved to Texas due to military service.

The menu includes beverages such as Voo Doo Lemonade and desserts, including banana pudding.

The truck is usually parked on FM 1103 and Brite Road in Cibolo but is also taking requests to visit neighborhoods.
