Topeka food truck duo open restaurant

Two years ago Tim and Ambroja Watson launched their food truck, Soul Fire, and the Soul Fire Food Co. in East Topeka, Kansas.

Now they're opening a brick-and-mortar location on California Avenue, according to a report at the Topeka Capital-Journal.

The restaurant is located right across the Dollar General parking lot, where their food truck does business.

"We actually had our eye on this building since we started over here," Tim told the news outlet. "We knew this would be a good spot because the support in this area has been so strong. ... This became available. We reached out to the owner of the building, and it all kind of took shape from there."

The next business expansion, according to the report, will be a second food truck.
