A proposed Urban Food Lot, a food park location in Las Vegas' Arts District, is one step closer to fruition.
The city planning commission has given approval to move the project forward, according to a Las Vegas Review Journal report.
"Downtown should represent inclusivity and innovation with progressive and artistic flair," Sarah Jackson, asset manager for the lot developer, Main Street Investments, said in a statement.
The food truck lot will allow for delivery or pickup and about 10 spots can be parked on the site, according to the report. It will be located in a 7,400-square-foot vacant lot on the west side of Casino Center Boulevard .
There will be no dining in and no seating at the beginning of use.
